Start with only 5 cards in the 'Small Fish' variation, but take two at the beginning of your turn if you run out of cards. Players only give up one card at a time in the 'Lone Fish' variation. It leaves you wondering if the player you just took a card from still has a matching card in hand and can retaliate. In the 'Deep Sea' variation, the entire deck is dealt.
